Ale De Tuglie launches new label HALO Recordings with debut release, ‘Not A Feeling’.
The project welcomes the birth of the Italian DJ/producer's first-ever label as he delivers the first single on the imprint.
In-demand DJ/producer Ale De Tuglie announces the launch of his label, HALO Recordings, with its debut release courtesy of the founder himself. The Bari-born artist, who has quickly risen through the ranks with releases on labels such as Whippin’, Futura, and Work Them Records (with a standout remix of label boss Spencer Parker’s track ‘Brotherhood’), is now ready to carve his path at the head of his own label. Having regularly played at leading Italian venues, including Cromie, Spazio Novecento, and Clorophilla, De Tuglie’s relentless passion for music continues to drive him to new heights, and the label looks set to be at the centre of the next chapter in his evolution - providing a fitting reflection of his journey so far.
"HALO was born as a vehicle to express my sound 100% in a personal and unfettered way. It is my creation with which I can feel free to range from one genre to another, be it techno, minimal, house, electronic...” - Ale De Tuglie.
‘Not A Feeling’ is a track oozing with dancefloor impact. Built around driving basslines, crisp percussion, zipping synths and hooky vocals at its core, the track offers a glimpse into the musical direction HALO will champion: fresh electronic music that spans genres and reflects his growing sound as a DJ.
2024 has been a breakout year for the Italian. As a resident at Music On, De Tuglie has delivered impressive performances at some of the world’s most iconic venues, from Pacha and Destino in Ibiza to key international stages in Amsterdam for both ADE and Music On Festival, plus Buenos Aires and Punta del Este - with upcoming performances for Marco Carola’s iconic party slated for Bucharest and a return to Buenos Aires before the close of the year. Add to the mix further Ibiza sets at the likes of ANTS and elrow, plus dates including Sunwaves, and the label launch caps off an impressive twelve months for the Italian - marking a pivotal moment in his young yet flourishing career.
