Appetite on the Farm and Rinkoff's Bakery launch limited-edition doughnut raising funds for Ukrainian music initiative
Cult electronic music festival Appetite on the Farm has partnered with East London bakery Rinkoff's to release a limited-edition doughnut throughout August. A portion of every sale will be donated to Enter DJ, a Ukrainian initiative using electronic music and DJing to support people affected by the war.
Appetite on the Farm was founded by DJs Elliot Schooling and Liam Palmer and returns for its fifth anniversary edition at Kelvedon Hall, Essex on 29th and 30th August, with Jamie Jones, Skream, Eliza Rose, Todd Edwards, Traumer and Dyed Soundorom among the headliners.
The doughnut, inspired by Appetite's pink doughnut logo, is made using Rinkoff's century-old recipe and finished with pink icing and sprinkles. It is available throughout August at Rinkoff's stores in Whitechapel and Mile End. The launch coincides with the publication of Rinkoff's debut cookbook, The Jewish Bakery (Quadrille, £28).
Enter DJ is an online and offline DJing programme operating in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv and Vinnytsia, providing mental wellness support to Ukrainian veterans, soldiers and refugees through music education.
Donations to Enter DJ can be made via gofundme.com/f/help-veterans-in-ukraine-heal-through-music-and-djing.
