Archie Hamilton releases new acid house single “daydream” (feat. Sadie Walker)

Prolific London DJ/producer and label boss Archie Hamilton releases his new single, “Daydream,” featuring Sadie Walker. The track, out now, marks Hamilton’s debut on Higher Ground.

Outfitted with jazzy breaks, an irresistible acid line, and Archie’s signature UK house groove, “Daydream” is uplifted by the hazy vocals of Sadie Walker, who’s also worked with other all-star acts such as Honey Dijon and Nightmares On Wax. The release is one of the first that came after Archie’s first conscious break from his career in nearly 15 years due to the birth of his first child this past September. In addition to embracing new emotional depth in all facets of his life, the time off allowed him to refresh his creative approach with a new focus on songwriting.

“Daydream” is a return to a deeper sound for me and explores a more emotional side to my music. Collaborating with the incredible vocalist and writer Sadie Walker who also co-wrote my record on Defected, we felt there was more to explore together. Returning to the studio, we crafted something that really resonates with our shared vision. Firmly established in the minds of clubbers around the world, Archie continues to be one of the most in-demand touring DJs in the industry. Last year he closed out the iconic Space Terrace at Miami Music Week, which led to a packed schedule throughout the summer in Ibiza at the island’s biggest parties (including Circoloco, Music On, Solid Grooves, and Paradise) to the world’s best festivals like Sunwaves, Caprices, Kappa Futur, Creamfields, and Awakenings.

The year culminated in a sold-out, all-night-long show in room 1 at London’s clubbing mecca, fabric, cementing his place at the zenith of club culture. This year, Archie’s busy tour schedule continues as he continues to trot back and forth between North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia this summer.
