A new platform aimed at enhancing nightlife discovery, Dancefloor, has officially launched to help music lovers find the best DJs and club nights in their cities. It is available now on both iOS and Android and is designed for those planning ahead or looking for spontaneous events.

Dancefloor offers a simple interface with personalised notifications for when your favourite DJs are performing nearby. The platform also provides a daily feed showcasing trending events that keep you up to date and is also a vital tool for DJs and promoters.

Says founder & CEO Ben King, "I wanted to build Dancefloor mostly for myself. It was annoying having to bounce around multiple apps, and it was surprisingly hard to find out when my favourite DJs were playing in my city. Since the app went live, the reaction has been incredible. Fans are really discovering so many new artists and events. There is so much we can do here to help fans and the wider dance community, and we’re just getting started."

Dancefloor is tailored to three key user groups: fans, DJs, and promoters. For fans, the platform offers personalised event feeds, instant alerts for local shows, and seamless integration with music platforms like Spotify, YouTube, Boiler Room, and Soundcloud. Users can connect their Soundcloud accounts to stay updated on the latest performances by their following artists.

For DJs, Dancefloor removes barriers to gigs by allowing promoters to easily discover rising stars within their communities and directly connect with artists for booking opportunities.

Promoters and venue owners can build stronger communities with tools for messaging, real-time analytics, and customer loyalty features, including automatic return discounts and unlockable perks.
