Eli brown shares ferocious new single ‘it’s like that’ second single off debut album
The second single from the forthcoming LP arrives via Insomniac Records ahead of the album’s release
Eli Brown has unveiled It’s Like That, the second single from his forthcoming debut album, Panic Attack, while officially announcing that the highly anticipated full-length project will arrive via Insomniac Records.
Built for peak-time dancefloors, It’s Like That captures the euphoric chaos and unapologetic freedom of rave culture. Driven by thunderous basslines, acid-soaked synths, relentless percussion and piercing sirens, the record pairs Brown’s unmistakable high-impact production with the defiant vocal refrain, “Fuck That Shit,” creating a track designed for moments when nothing matters beyond the music.
Speaking about the release, Brown said:
“It’s Like That is about being in the rave, that escapism and no judgment, simply getting lost in the music and having fun with your friends. I wanted to create something that encapsulated being in the rave, the escapism from the daily grind, no judgement, simply getting lost in the music and having a good time with your friends. It’s what we live for… Fuck that shit.”
The single offers another glimpse into Panic Attack, a project that promises to be Brown’s most uncompromising artistic statement to date. Following the release of Electrify, It’s Like That further explores the raw, high-energy sound that has established the Bristol-born producer as one of techno’s most influential contemporary artists, balancing underground intensity with festival-scale impact.
Over the past few years, Brown has become one of the defining figures of modern techno, earning support from artists including Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Calvin Harris, Green Velvet, HI-LO and Fisher while becoming a regular fixture at Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Creamfields, Coachella, Awakenings and Insomniac events around the world.
His explosive live performances have translated into sold-out headline shows across major markets including Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and London, while appearances at EDC Las Vegas, EDC Mexico, EDC Thailand and Beyond Wonderland have further cemented his reputation as one of electronic music’s most commanding live performers.
Away from the stage, Brown continues to champion the underground through his Arcane imprint, which has become one of techno’s most respected labels. Recent releases from HNTR and Marie Vaunt, alongside a forthcoming EP from Linska, underline the label’s ongoing commitment to supporting both established names and the next generation of techno talent.
The release arrives ahead of a busy run of international performances, including appearances at Shambhala and Lollapalooza, before Brown headlines his biggest Los Angeles show to date on 14th November, one day after Panic Attack lands. He will also return to Miami’s Factory Town this September as momentum continues to build around one of techno’s most anticipated album releases of the year.
