Kang's original version of "DAY5" made waves in 2023, independently amassing over 1 million streams. For &friends, this release marks a return to TH3RD BRAIN Records following their acclaimed remix of Zerb's unstoppable "Mwaki". “DAY5 &friends” comes hot on the heels of &friends debut performance at Coachella on Weekend 2 for a magical sunset set at the DoLab Stage. Sean Thomas artfully followed up an explosive surprise performance by Marc Rebillet, with setlist packed entirely with unreleased &friends originals and remixes of the likes of Akon, Eminem, Amy Winehouse and Jessie Ware. Most recently, &friends has released official remixes from massive players in music like Myke Towers, Bayanni, Ry X and mammoth dance tracks such as Zerb’s “Mwaki”, as well as “Veneno” by Sofi Tukker.
