Grigoré, Serve Cold, and Jaguar Jaguar collaborate on new Defected single 'Dancing'
Berlin-based producer Grigoré has teamed up with Serve Cold and Belgian band Jaguar Jaguar for new single 'Dancing' out on Defected Records on 6 June.
Grigoré is a house and techno talent with support from artists like Solomun and CamelPhat. His collaboration with Serve Cold began with the EP Seasons, which was rich in melancholic and melodic tones.
'Dancing' marks their debut on Defected Records and blends house and electronic vibes with Jaguar Jaguar's vocals to create an irresistible summer sound and has received early support from DJs including Keinemusik and Sam Divine.
Says Grigoré & Serve Cold, “We've been making music together for one year now. Our studio sessions are always full of jokes and good vibes… sometimes it feels like we share one brain: one of us starts a thought, and the other’s already turning it into sound. We don’t like to overcook ideas, our golden rule is ‘72 hours to bring it to life, or it’s gone’."
“We're both big fans of soul and neo-soul, especially inspired by artists like Jungle and Khruangbin. When we started working on "Dancing," an idea struck us: what if we blended soulful vocals with a solid house beat? So we reached out to Jaguar Jaguar, and the guys were totally down for the collab.
