Ministry of Sound to host Fat Tony's Ministry of Pride with all-LGBTQ+ lineup

Ministry of Sound will host Fat Tony's Ministry of Pride on July 5 with all-LGBTQ+ lineup across all rooms of the iconic South London venue. The party seeks to highlight the diversity and creative energy of the LGBTQ+ community and be a place "everyone's a part of something."

Headlining the event is DJ Fat Tony, a long-standing figure known for his influential presence in both underground and mainstream club culture. In addition to his DJ career, Fat Tony is an author and advocate, recently signed to Defected Records and he is set to release the first single from Hard Camp, a new collaborative EP with fellow artist KDA, on the same day as the party.

Of the party he has said before that it is one where everyone is welcome no matter their background, so long as they are "about the love" understand and appreciate the music - and that music is unrestricted by genre.

The all LGBTQ+ line-up backs that up and performing as well as Tony are Polish house duo Catz ‘N Dogz, London-based DJs FAFF, Josh Harrison, and nightlife icon Princess Julia, alt-pop artist Reenie, drag performer Tete Bang and genre-blending Not Bad For A Girl.

The event spans a range of musical styles, from house and disco to underground club sounds. Ministry of Pride is designed as both a celebration of queer joy and an expression of identity, freedom, and inclusivity.
