Refuge NYC announces month-long first anniversary programme with Natasha Diggs, Deep Dish, The Martinez Brothers, David Morales and more throughout September
Refuge NYC will mark its first anniversary with a month-long programme of events throughout September culminating in a birthday weekend from 25th to 27th September.
The 500-capacity venue opened one year ago between East Williamsburg and Bushwick with a music-first approach - no VIP areas, no bottle service and a custom-built REX analogue sound system designed by sound engineer Craig Bernabeu, which has been continuously refined throughout the club's first year. The wooden dancefloor is sanded regularly to maintain the right surface for dancers.
The September programme opens on 5th September with Gabriel and Dresden, followed by a 12-hour set from David Morales. Further dates across the month include Chris Liebing, Natasha Diggs, Rodriguez Jr. live, The Martinez Brothers, Two Shell, Deep Dish, Gorje Hewek, Volen Sentir, Vanjee, Black Asteroid, Ahadadream, Serge Devant and Victor Calderone among others.
The anniversary weekend runs from 25th to 27th September, opening with an open-to-close set from Deep Dish on Friday, followed by John Dimatteo and Shorty on Saturday, and closing on Sunday with a sunrise set from Victor Calderone and a night set from Brothers Macklovitch, the project of A-Trak and Dave 1 of Chromeo.
