Yoshitoshi continues its celebration of Eddie Amador’s ‘House Music’ at 25 years with the release of a star-studded remix from Riva Starr.

25 years is a long time in dance music. Ask any clubber what tracks they remember from 1999 and, odds-on, you’ll be met with a shrug. However, mention ‘House Music’ and it’s a different kettle of karate; not only was it one of - if not THE - seminal release of the year, it’s gone on to stand the test of time.

His 'The Loft EP' on Cajual dominated the Beatport and Traxsource charts for over three months and received unprecedented continuous support on BBC Radio 1 for nine weeks. His remix of Groove Armada's 'Superstylin’' and collaborations with Gene Farris and Dennis Cruz have topped the Beatport charts for more than two months, while his own release, 'The Wickedest Sound,' stayed in the charts for over eight months.

Riva Starr has collaborated with industry giants such as Armand Van Helden, Calvin Harris, Diplo, CamelPhat, Ursula Rucker, Mark Broom (as Star B), Robert Owens (on Joris Voorn’s Rejected), and Tiger Stripes. His remixes for Carl Cox, Claptone, Flight Facilities, and Bob Sinclar's classic 'Vision of Paradise' have further cemented his reputation. His relentless creativity led to the release of his fourth album on Adam Beyer’s Truesoul, which topped the 'Top Ten Release' in ten different genres on Beatport and received support from numerous key players in the industry.
