The DJ Awards announces new grand jury to select nominees for 2025
The revived and influential DJ Awards has announced the formation of the Grand Jury, a new initiative aimed at enhancing transparency and expertise in the awards process. The panel will play a key role in shaping award categories, nominating artists and industry figures ensuring that The DJ Awards accurately reflects the global electronic music scene going forwards.
The DJ Awards is a long standing and respected event that celebrates the artists, clubs, festivals and professionals who influence global dance music. In order to support the mission, a group of industry leaders has been selected for this year's Grand Jury and they will oversee "a fair and data-driven selection of categories and nominees, provide expert industry insights, reflect current trends and achievements, by incorporating perspectives from a diverse, global panel."
The diverse panel includes representatives from all corners of the scene including booking agencies, club operators, festival organisers, media, streaming platforms, PR agencies and record labels. New members will be invited each year and the establishment of the DJ Awards Grand Jury means a continued focus on authenticity and expertise in future.
