La Paloma is said to be the oldest European club in operation and its musical programme reflects that with a blend of real house and disco heritage and plenty of new school innovation. It first opened as a dance hall in 1903 and celebrated its 120th anniversary in 2023. Two years on it remains a key player in Barcelona’s nightlife landscape and now hosts both local and international collectives with regular nights from Glove Party, Disco Marisco and Polenta.

This season will see visits from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Kenny Dope, Ron Trent, A Guy Called Gerald, John Morales and Sadar Bahar so all shades of house, disco, funk and beyond will be served up. Further highlights include Studio Barnhus co-founder Axel Boman, New York selector Natasha Diggs, a special edition of Permanent Vacation with Massimiliano Pagliara, and a curated night by Canela en Surco with Kaidi Tatham and Steven Julien bring broken beat and funk.
