Dave Angel announces definitive new 'a time and place' album rooted in jazz, soul & heritage, with first single 'réflexion'

British electronic music pioneer Dave Angel announces his most personal and accomplished album to date, A Time And Place, alongside the unveiling of its lead single "Réflexion," featuring celebrated trumpeter Steve Waterman. Marking a deeply significant chapter in the artist's career, the album sees Dave drawing upon jazz, soul, and improvisational influences alongside a lifetime of musical experiences, creating a richly expressive body of work rooted in family, nature, heritage, and reflection.

The album’s opening single, "Réflexion," provides an early insight into the musical direction of the project, highlighting Waterman’s Miles Davis-inspired tone. Released via the seminal Belgium-based imprint R&S Records, "Réflexion" paves the way for the full-length album A Time And Place (set for release on September 18th, 2026), marking a major return to the label that helped establish Dave as one of the UK's most respected electronic artists over three decades ago.

Collaboration plays a central role throughout the forthcoming album, which features guest appearances from legendary vocalist Robert Owens, guitarist Merv Carswell, and Aurii Sky.
